QUESTION BY ILA: Who can celebrate St. Valentine’s Day & how?
AMITA: Well, we all know that February has long been a month of romance and on 14th of February, across the world, candy, flowers, and gifts are exchanged between loved ones, all in the name of St. Valentine. However, Valentine’s Day isn’t just for sweethearts - it’s for the celebration of all the loves in our life, from parents and grandparents, to daughters and sons, nieces and nephews… and all the friends, neighbors and special people who touch your heart. You could prepare red Jell-O with cinnamon hearts mixed in, mashed potatoes colored with pink food coloring, heart-shaped cookies and any other creative ways to present your Valentine’s Day meal. You could also insert a note saying “I’m fortunate to have you” or “I love you”. Spend some quality fun time with your niece or nephew or other child in your family. If you are alone, why not pamper yourself with a candle lit bubble bath, prepare your favorite meal, rent a video, or treat yourself to a day at spa etc…
QUESTION BY MRS. PANDEY: My Kids don’t behave; I’m so tired and fed up with my life, please tell me what I should do?
JATIN:
Well, Kids are just like wax Mrs. Pandey; they can be molded in anyway you want. It takes lots of time and patience in the beginning, but afterwards whatever you want they will be ever ready to do with a smile. Now the question is: do you have that time & patience? When you are ready, let us know; definitely we will help you to solve this issue with your misbehaved kids.
QUESTION BY MRS. DHIMAN: I have guests at home and I’m tired of them. How do I get rid of them?
JATIN:
Mrs. Dhiman, I’m sorry to hear that you are tired of your guests. You should consider yourself a lucky person that you have guests at home. My mother says, “God comes in the form of guests and we should welcome them with our arms wide open”. We should serve them the food on time, according to their desire, with a smile. Be nice to them and let them stay as long as they want. Your guest will feel so proud of you and inside they will feel fortunate that you are there to support them when they needed you. Who has time or who wants to go these days to anyone’s home to stay unless they are in some kind of trouble which they are unable to share with you? I tell you something; any amount of money you spend for good cause by helping others, don’t think it was waste, because Indirectly God will return that money and much more with interest in any form sooner or later when you really need it. So please be nice to them and help them out through this rough time.
QUESTION BY ASHOK: How can I have a financial secure retirement?
JATIN:
Very simple, you should open a RRSP account and start to contribute maximum funds towards this plan. This way you will not only save money for your retirement days, you will also get a big tax break from both Federal and Provincial government, when you file your annual income tax returns. As you know these days it’s very hard to save money and this is one of best ways to save money and secure your future financially. If you don’t have funds available; it is worth to get a loan from any financial institute to contribute towards RRSP. Remember this year the deadline for the RRSP is Feb. 29th.
